KELSEY HARRIGAN

Kelsey graduated from Niagara University in 2022 where she was a 5 year starter as the leadoff batter and centerfielder for the Purple Eagles.In her first year of college, she finished on the team with a .454 slugging percentage, .283 batting average, and a .379 on-base percentage as the leadoff batter. She hit her first career home run in her very first game as a Purple Eagle and was named to the 2018 MAAC All-Rookie team.Kelsey was a 4-year starter for Grand Island Senior High School. FAVORITE AWS MEMORYMy favorite memory with AWS is seeing all the girls having fun at the clinics, making
them compete for tickets and also giving out individual awards at the end.

FAVORITE SOFTBALL MEMORY

My favorite softball memory was when I was a sophomore in college and I hit a walk off
home run in the MAAC tournament to advance our team to the semifinals.

FAVORITE TOPIC TO TEACH AND WHY

My favorite topic to teach is hitting because it is the best part of the game and there is
nothing more satisfying than getting a nice solid hit. I was the leadoff batter for most of
my career so getting on base was a big part of my game.

FAVORITE THING ABOUT TEACHING SOFTBALL

My favorite thing about teaching softball is seeing young girls fall in love with the game.
Softball creates so many memorable existences and it makes me so happy when girls
are having fun while playing.
