My daughter's team booked an All Things Beginner Pitching class with Amanda and now all the girls LOVE going to Amanda's weekly classes knowing that they will learn, get better, AND have fun every single session! After taking Amanda'a Elite Hitting class - my daughter is a completely different hitter now. She went from being at the bottom of the lineup to batting at the top of the lineup and being one of the team's most consistent hitters. Batting went from one of the things my daughter hated to now being her favorite part of the game. I heard about Amanda through a few of my daughter's teammates and we decided to sign up for a session with Amanda. My daughter is very shy and immediately I could tell that Amanda and her staff were the right coaches for my daughter. They immediately learned her name, made her feel included, and she had a blast. Amanda is awesome! When I first came to her, I struggled with my hitting and overall confidence in softball. After the first lesson I had with her I saw immediate improvement. From not being able to hit anything out of the infield to being able to hit gaps and actually get on made me 10x more confident in myself. Amanda has now been my hitting coach for 3 years, and if it wasn't for her I probably wouldn't be where I am today in this game. Thanks to her I got pulled up to varsity in 8th grade and I wouldn't be on the travel team I am on today. Whenever I have lessons or clinics with Amanda, that is all I look forward to that day. I had heard so many great things about Amanda that my daughter and I decided to try a few of Amanda's hitting classes, specifically the Elite Hitting. My daughter has always struggled at the plate and has never been a 'power' hitter until this year. Amanda truly changed the way my daughter approaches her at-bats and has become a true student of the game under Amanda's tutelage. I have seen a total 180 in the way my daughter hits the ball and in her attitude. She ended the summer with more extra-base hits than she has ever had before. Her smile alone was worth it! My daughter has been in need of a hitting coach for ages. She has bounced around instructors but no one has really 'stuck.' Knowing Amanda is in such high demand we decided to do Amanda's Elite Hitting Class and holy cow has it made such a difference in not only my daughter's confidence in the plate, but overall understanding of her swing, as well as just having a better approach. I can confidently say that this summer was a turning point in her career, and the credit goes to Amanda and her very knowledgeable staff. We have known Amanda for a few years and have attended clinics sporadically throughout the last few years. My daughter always came home smiling and loved them, but this spring our team started working with Amanda doing weekly hitting, and we have seen such an improvement in her swing and in her performance on the field. The confidence alone that she has gained by working with Amanda and her team is the best part of seeing my daughter improve. Before seeing Amanda, my daughter was lost at the plate, every time she came off the field without a hit would cry and have no idea what to fix or how to help herself. NOW, every time that happens she comes off the field knowing exactly what she needs to do to get better during her next at bat AND more motivated than ever. I have never seen my daughter more determined. I am so proud of her, and even more thankful for Amanda and her team of fantastic role models for not only instilling softball smarts but also confidence in my daughter. We booked a semi-private group hitting lesson with my daughter and a few of her teammates! Amanda not only taught the girls the proper mechanics but took the extra time to explain WHY those mechanics were important which was extremely beneficial in both my daughter's understanding of her swing and MINE as well! Amanda encouraged us parents to learn too, which was a welcome change as we've been to coaches who don't even let parents in or ask questions during the session! She truly went above and beyond! We have already signed up for a few more. Would HIGHLY recommend for girls looking to improve their game but ALSO for parents who want to be able to help their daughters too!!!

Amanda not only takes the time to show each girl that is in her class how to perfect each skill they are working on but she also makes them feel so special! She has been great for my daughter to break out of her shell and she is someone my daughter looks up to as a role model.
Amanda is so knowledgable in her skills and I just love that she takes the time to make sure the group is doing things the right way and encourages them when they aren’t quite getting it. Honestly, if your daughter loves softball these clinics are something you want to do.

Amanda started coaching me at age 11 years old. Over the past 8 years, Amanda has had a huge influence on the player and person I am today. She has always been inspiring, energetic, and my go to coach. The thing that stands out about Amanda from any other coach I’ve had is that she will adjust her coaching style to fit what works for each individual player. Amanda has gone from being my coach to coworker at clinics and someone I can always go to.
Amanda has many connections in the softball world as well as experience. She has played almost every position, fought through injuries, and has been in a lot of hard games where one decision could affect the outcome. As we began the end of summer madness that is softball tryout season, my daughter was a bundle of nerves. I put on my parenting "A game" and had pep talk after pep talk with her about thinking positively and showing coaches her willingness to work hard, most of which was met with a mumbled "I know mom" and the occasional eye roll. She is 10 and is at an age where most things I say are met this way. Then I signed her up for the pre-tryout clinics at Amanda Werth Softball and the change in her was very clear. Amanda and her team not only gave her the tips, tricks and repetition needed to up her physical game, but they also instilled in her a language of positivity and an air of confidence.
Softball is as much a mental game as it is a physical one. Amanda and her team get it and they strive and succeed in creating a coachable, positive mindset in their clients. I witnessed it first hand. My nervous daughter, after 2 clinics with Amanda Werth, thought differently about herself and the game, voicing the desire to work harder and be more coachable especially in her times of doubt. This was the greatest lesson I could ever hope for her to learn and the reason we put her in softball to begin with. Strong female role models are important at any age, but especially for the "tween" set. Amanda and her amazing team have provided that for my daughter and many others and I cannot thank them enough. If you have a daughter who loves to play softball I would HIGHLY recommend sending her to one of Amanda's clinics, she will have fun, learn more about softball and come away with some wonderful life lessons as well.

Amanda just did a private team clinic with us last week and WOW. Amanda and her staff brought all equipment, handled set up and break down, and even brought snacks, water, and prizes for our girls. We are a knowledgeable coaching staff and even WE learned a ton from her clinic with our girls. Our girls walked away with a new love and appreciation for the game. I’ve been going to lessons with Coach Amanda since I was in 8u. Every time I see her, I know that she is going to help get my swing back on track. She always knows exactly what to say when I come in for a lesson. Knowing her for all of these years has helped me become such a better player. She has always inspired me to be the best I can be. Amanda has been my hitting coach for the past two seasons. She has taught me a great new stance, and how to put my hips into the ball, which allows me to hit with such power that sometimes I can't believe I'm the one hitting. Amanda mixes in hard work and fun at the same time, which many people can't do. When I go to her clinics, I always leave knowing more than I did when I came in. She doesn't yell or discipline anyone if they make a mistake on the field, instead reassures them that that they are capable of anything and teaches them how to do it the correct way. My daughter Anastasia has been working with Amanda for close to 3 years and the experience we have had has been nothing but positive. Ana started seeing Amanda prior to the start of her 1st year 10U season. At the time, Ana was young, coming off 3 years of machine pitch and very apprehensive about the start of live pitching. Amanda was able to set her up with a swing that made her comfortable and confident at the plate no matter who was pitching. Amanda built her swing from the ground level up and gave her the confidence she needed to perform at a high level all the time. Anastasia is now her team’s lead off hitter and one of the most consistent hitters on her team and at her age level as a whole. Being the lead off hitter not only requires a high level of confidence, but patience as well. All the skills that Amanda taught her, and the mindset she helped to establish have been crucial to Ana’s continuous high level of play.
I am also a coach with the Amherst Lightning organization and we routinely have Amanda come to practice and work with the entire team on fielding, base running hitting/bunting and the necessary softball skills needed to perform at a high level. Amanda brings a level of discipline to practice that our girls embrace and respond to very well. Overall, Amanda has provided my daughter and our team with a tremendous amount of knowledge which leads to an increased level of confidence. Amanda is the cream of the crop when it comes to softball training. My daughter has been working with her for a couple of years on pitching, hitting, and fielding. We've tried other trainers at various times but Ada always says "I want to go to Amanda!"
This is for good reason. The amount of energy that Amanda exudes is absorbed by the student. She is passionate about the game and so willing to pass that on to the next group of girls. Since my daughter's first hitting lesson with Amanda, her confidence has soared. Lauren was always a good hitter, but she never knew it. Amanda's ability to teach, educate and instill the necessary confidence that all athletes need to excel both on and off the field, has been incredible. Amanda has been Sophia’s hitting and fielding coach for 7 years. The coaching and skills Sophia has learned from Amanda helped her earn a position with USSSA NY Pride 16U during the summers and Sneaky Cleats 16U in East Texas during the spring seasons. Sophia also plays with The Brook Hill School Varsity team in TX.
The Brook Hill team made it to the Texas State Championship game in Houston last spring. Facing a senior pitcher, committed to Seton Hall, it was a tough game. Though her teammates struck out 18 times during those 7 innings, Sophia hit 3 for 3 at the plate. She hit two singles over the shortstop’s head and took a screwball down the third base line for a double. She scored the only two runs for Brook Hill and earned an All-Tournament Honorable Mention Medal that day.
There is a confident focus that comes through from Sophia’s dedication, preparedness and training with Amanda. I asked her how she did so well that game. She simply said, “It doesn’t matter who’s pitching, what pitches they’re throwing, or what game it is… Amanda says- "See the Ball. Hit the Ball.”

I currently play Division 1 softball at Niagara University and none of this would of been possible without Amanda’s help. Amanda was my first and only hitting coach. She works well with all age groups and never gives up on you. I have been through it all with Amanda and she is always available and there for me. My daughter is in her 4th year of lessons with Amanda and we could not be happier. Her batting average is 70 points higher in the four travel and two high school seasons relative to where it was prior to starting with Amanda. She is an outstanding coach and teaches the girls versus simply giving reps. This enables the player to diagnose and pinpoint where things might be awry in their swing when away from lessons. My daughter has been coached by Amanda in one way or another since the age of 9, her first year in travel softball, through now, her 6th year. In that time my daughter went from a novice with good fundamentals to a dominant player, particularly at the plate. My daughter has excelled in travel softball, and Amanda has had a lot to do with that.
Amanda’s instructional style is perfect for getting the best from girls she teaches. She knows the sport, of course, but most importantly, she knows her students. She is able to diagnose areas to improve or correct virtually instantaneously, cater the solution to the player individually, and then is great at explaining it all to her student, and their parents so that the learning can continue. I am continually impressed that despite having a long list of students, she always remembers fine details of each of them, and each lesson has no "back up to speed" time necessary. Each lesson feels like a continuation of the last. I appreciate that very much, and so does my daughter.
Amanda is very effective. My daughter is just one of many success stories where Amanda is concerned. I have proudly recommended her to others, and all of them have raved about Amanda's work with their daughters.

I’ve worked with Amanda for over 5 years with my team, she is as good as it gets, not only as a hitting coach but as a mentor that young female athletes are grateful to have. Amanda Werth breaks the game of softball down to the fundamentals and explains why we do the things we do. As softball players we are told a variety of different things, hitting wise we hear things like “keep your hands inside the ball, keep your weight back, don’t wrap, drive the ball the other way, hit it where it’s pitched, etc.” but do we really know how to and why we are doing these things in our swing? Amanda breaks those comments down and explains what coaches really mean, rather than just expecting you know without further explanation.
In high school I was a very good hitter, I was voted MVP of my league my junior and senior year and made 1st team for my district my junior and senior year. When I got to college I had to learn very quickly that it was a whole new ballgame. Pun intended. I wish I had met Amanda in my earlier years of college ball. I would have been much better off. However, I am very thankful that I have gotten to work with her now and improve my swing and my pitching.
Amanda cares very much about her “students” and wants to see them succeed. She doesn’t take a cookie cutter approach to the girls she coaches. The first thing she will tell you in a lesson about making an adjustment in your swing is, “give it 5 swings, if you don’t like it or it just doesn’t feel right, then we will switch to something else that will work better for you.” The same thing goes for pitching and anything else for that matter. Amanda understands that not every girl will be the same so why would their mechanics.
As a college softball player that is also a 12u coach there is no one else that I would want to send my kids to for hitting/fielding/pitching lessons. I believe in her coaching philosophy and as a coach myself I try to emulate the way she teaches the various aspects of softball.

We know that if Allison feels that her game play needs a boost, we can stop in for a session with Amanda, and her positivity and ability to pinpoint issues will result in an instant lift. Allison has also attended and enjoyed several of Amanda’s clinics. Amanda is a fantastic coach and mentor and we are fortunate that Allison is able to work with and learn from her.
