FAVORITE AWS MEMORY
My favorite AWS memories are when the girls get to play competitive games. Whether it’s team challenges, fast-paced drills, or head-to-head competitions, it’s always fun to watch them compete. I love seeing their energy, determination, and how invested they get in winning while still supporting each other. The competitive atmosphere brings out their confidence, which makes those moments especially memorable.

FAVORITE SOFTBALL MEMORY
My favorite softball memory has to be when I cleared the bases with a double in 8th grade during a high stakes sectional game. It was my first season on Varsity, and getting that hit helped secure the win for our team. As an 8th grader playing at the Varsity level, that moment felt like my first “big moment,” and it gave me a huge boost of confidence. It made the game, and the season, feel extra special and unforgettable.

FAVORITE TOPIC TO TEACH AND WHY
My favorite topic to teach is definitely hitting. I always enjoyed learning how to tweak and refine the small details of my mechanics to make my swing as consistent and effective as possible. Now, I love passing that knowledge on and helping players better understand their swing and grow their confidence at the plate. My second favorite position would be catching because you are involved in every play, and having a great catcher can win games.

FAVORITE THING ABOUT TEACHING SOFTBALL
One of my favorite parts of teaching softball is helping girls build their confidence. I was once that player who didn’t fully trust or believe in herself, so being able to help others overcome that same doubt is really meaningful to me. Watching a player gain confidence in her abilities and start to believe in herself is just as rewarding as seeing her improve her skills.

FUNNY/INTERESTING FACTS (NOT SOFTBALL RELATED)

A fun fact about me is that I always have been a dual sport athlete. Playing and loving both Volleyball and Softball. Another fun fact about me is that I was extremely involved in high school, and I mean in EVERY aspect. At one point, I played four sports in the same season: high school softball, unified basketball, track and field (throwing), and club volleyball. On top of that, I played clarinet in the concert band and marching band, was a three-season athlete 7th-12th grade, a member of National Honor Society, and I served as class president. When I say I did it all, I truly mean I did it ALL. (Don’t ask how I did it, I genuinely don’t know)

FUNNY/INTERESTING FACTS (SOFTBALL RELATED)
I am a national champion! In 2023, my team and I won the USSSA Great Lakes National Championship! I have also placed 2nd in the national tournament in Nashville!
